The Blood Wedding (1931) tragedy is one of the most famous theater works of Federico Garcia

Lorca, who was inspired by the crime of Njar of 1928. It takes place in the same period in rural
Andalusia.

It stars the bride, groom and leonardo, these are the main characters, there are also characters
who are many.

The atmosphere is full of dire forebodings through the memories of the mother, strong woman,
possessive, unyielding, which detests and curses alike knives, pistols, shotguns, knives and hoes,
because she, after losing in fights his husband and son, is dedicated entirely to the surviving
stem-the boyfriend, honest and hardworking boy, one who cares for the family vineyard

Likewise the drama is life and death. But an arcane and ancestral mode, which contains myths,
legends and landscapes that introduce the reader into a world of dark passions that lead to
jealousy, persecution and tragic end: death. Love stands out as the only force that can overcome
it.

What I like about the play is that it uses a poetic language and envelops you in the drama, which
is what I do not like killing for revenge and jealousy.
