Data Presentation, Analysis and Interpretation

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relocation prospects and challenges in
Progreso Village Relocation Site I, Brgy. Granada, Bacolod City. The data was processed after
collection to achieve its objectives and fulfill the hypotheses. This chapter concentrates on
discussion; presentation of the data gathered; observation and interpretation of the results from
the conducted survey. It includes editing, coding, classification, and tabulation of collected data.
The processing of data was done with the help of relevant tools and techniques, the
researchers analyze and interpret the data with a view to arriving at empirical solution to the
problem. The data analysis for the present research was done quantitatively with the help of both
descriptive statistics like mean, mode, standard deviation and inferential statistics. Moreover,
data were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS).
The research objectives formulated in Chapter1 serves as a guide in the presentation of
the findings. The answer to each question is based upon the results obtained from the analysis
and computation of the data collected from the returned questionnaires from 330 households
surveyed. The succeeding discussions are presented by the researchers in the form of tables,
graphs and pie charts pertaining to the different variables.
