Setting: The Story happens in a Barrio.
Specifically:

At Seoras house
At the Drugstore (Also the Post-Office of the Barrio)

PROBLEM:
The problem of the story started when Tinang received the letter of Amado. Stated
in the letter is the unchanged feeling of Amado for Tinang, where he said that he still Loves
Tinang and hopes that she also feels the same. He also explains why he wasnt able to
return for a long time and someday or somehow be able to return again to fulfill their
promise. Tinang discovered that Amado is true to her and never meant to desert her but it
was too late for she is now married to Bagobo and already has a son.

SOLUTION:
For me, the solution to the problem of the story is for Tinang to accept the
consequences she made in her life. Everything already happened and cannot be changed
anymore. Life goes on and so should she. She just have to accept everything and see the
brighter side of life, and the blessing she received which is her son.
