Annapurna base camp trek : Many years back some expedition group was thinking of climbing eight
thousand meters mountain. After research they decides to climb Dhaulagiri. After they got on the top,
they measure altitude and found mistakenly climb another mountain. This happened due to lack of
geographical knowledge. They climbed Annapurna I instead of Dhaulagiri. This expedition is still taken as
a success. It is because human beings getting victory on eight thousands Meters Mountain for very first
time. With this successful climbing the Annapurna Himalayan region becomes popular day by day. This
popularity brings many people from different part of world. people come here to see its natural beauty.
Base camp is situated in middle of Himalayas covered from all sides.
Annapurna base camp trek has mountains all around. Mountain such as Annapurna I, Annapurna south,
Machhapucre,Tent peak, Singu chuli, Bharha chuli,Hiaun chuli and Gangapurna . Annapurna trek is one
of the golden chances to reach the base camp with fewer efforts. This base camp is situated in 4130 m.

Short Itinenary

Day 01: Received guest from the airport and transfers to hotel by our dedicated staffs.
Day 02: Half day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal.
Day 03: Drive 200 km and around 5-6 hours to Pokhara (950 m) in tourist coach.
Day 04: Drive to Phedi about 1 hour journey and 2 hrs trek to Dhampus-pothana (1,500 m)
Day 05: Trek to Landruk (1,600 m) 5 hrs walking.
Day 06: Trek to jhinu danda (1780 m) walking 5 hours and enjoy natural hot springs.
Day 07: Trek to dovan (2,130 m) via Bamboo (2,050 m) approx. 6 hours walks.
Day 08: Trek to Machapuchere Base Camp (3,720 m) 4-5 hours walking.
Day 09: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,095 m) 2-3 hours walking.
Day 10: Trek to Himalaya Hotel.(2, 900m) 6 hours walk down.
Day 11: Trek to Chomrong. Walk 4-5 hours.
Day 12: Trek to Ghandrung (1940 m) 5-6 hours walking the new trail crossing kimrong river (khola).
Day 13: Trek to nayapul and drive to Pokhara. 3-4 hrs walk and 2 hours drive respectively.
Day 14: Transfer to Airport for the flight back to Kathmandu.
Day 15: Free day at leisure in Kathmandu.
Day 16: Transfer to Airport for International departure.

Day 01: received guest from the airport and transfer to hotels by our dedicated staff.
On arrival at Kathmandu International Airport you will be received by our staff and transfer you to the
Hotel, our dedicated staff and guide will give you a brief orientation of the Hotel, Kathmandu-Trekking /
Camping, dos and donts and other related information that you might require while in Nepal.
Day 02: Half day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal.
After your first night in Kathmandu, you will be well informed on arrival about the time for your half day
guided sightseeing tour in Kathmandu which is the places of interest. According to the guest time, want
and interest we can do the sight seen by selecting from Swyambhunath, Bhaktaur durbar square, Patan
durbar square, Kathmandu square, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath.
Day 03: Drive 200 km and around 5-6 hours to Pokhara (950 m) in tourist coach.
Early breakfasts, then travel by air or a Deluxe Coach to Pokhara through prithivi highway. This is an
interesting drive through the foothills of the Himalaya. On reaching Pokhara transfer to Hotel for the
overnight stay in lake side and take a walk around the lake and temple on the middle of lake called barahi
temple.
Day 04: Drive to Phedi about half hour journey and 3 hrs treks to Pothana (1,500 m).
A short half hour drive in the morning takes you up the newly built baglung highway to Phedi where this
adventure to Annapurna Base Camp begins. After hiking 1 and half hour up passing small forest, villages,
farm lands, farm terraces we will be in dhampus. After 1 and half hour walking through forest we will be in
pothana where we stay overnight. On early morning we can have grand panoramic views of Annapurna
range from AI-AII-AIII ( located just behind the Mt. Fishtail) A IV-Annapurna South and Huin-chuli and as
far little part of Mt.Dhaulagiri to the west, Mt. Manaslu range of mountains to the East including the
magnificent and majestic Mt.Machhapuchare (Fish-Tail).
Day 05: Trek to Landruk (1,600 m) 5 hrs walking.
From here the track winds up to a steep climb for 1 hr on the up to Deurali Where there are 2-3 lodges,
with a short tea break enjoying the superb scenery including Mt.Dhaulagiri.Walking continues on the
downhill slope for 20-30 minutes through a small forests till Bheda-Kharka.Passing winding gradual trail
we will be in tolka with fantastic views of Annapurna South and Huinchuli and of the surrounding
landscapes. Tolka will be an ideal spot for lunch as Landrung is just an hour away from here. The way is
short up and down and mostly straight until you reach to landruk where we sat overnight.
Day 06: Trek to jhinu danda (1780 m) walking 5 hours and enjoy natural hot springs.
The trek from Landrung leads to the last tea house just by the path towards another Phedi of Landrung
and Ghandrung. The trek go all the way down to modi khola(river) where we can have a last tea house on
a way before modi khola(river). After crossing the new bridge and walking 3 hours we will be in jhinu
danda where we stay overnight.after rest for a while visit 25 minutes down to river for enjoying natural hot
springs.
Day 07: Trek to dovan (2,130 m) via Bamboo (2,050 m) approx 6 hours walks.
In early morning take a up way to chhomrong village infront of hanchuli and Annapurna south. Walked
down for 1 hour and up 2 hour you will be in sinwa passing bhanwa on the way. Sinwa is the last village
on the way to abc. After here there is only people who live for business purpose. Walking straight to khudi
and down we will be in bamboo where you can have lunch over there. After that the journey leads to
dovan to stay overnight passing bamboo forests, rhododendrons and oak tree.
Day 08: Trek to Machapuchere Base Camp (3,720 m) 4-5 hours walking.
From dovan trek to machhapuchera base camp walking the up way through Modi River passing
Himalayan, hinku cave and deurli. At passing the way we can have a wonderful view of waterfall on the
next side of the small green hill. We also can see Annapurna iii, fishtail and gandarba chuli in the front.
Day 09: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,095 m) 2-3 hours walking.
Todays walk leads you in the heart of the Sanctuary at the Annapurna Base Camp, the path follows
ascends for few hours on the grassy path where you are in middle of Annapurna Himalayan range
surrounded by Annapurna I, Annapurna south, hianchuli, bara sikhar, syangachuli, tent peak,
gangapurna, Annapurna III, fishtail(machhapuchera) and many more.
Day 10: Trek to Himalaya Hotel.(2, 900 m.) 6 hours walk.
After a wonderful time here at ABC, retrace the journey back to Himalaya Hotel near Hinko Cave via
Machhapuchare Base Camp for the overnight. A good day walk in the tranquility of the mountains and in
its tranquil wilderness, the trek leads back to the lush green vegetation; the walk is more or less downhill
with few ups to Himalaya Hotel.
Day 11: Trek to Chomrong,(2170 m) 4-5 hrs.
From Himalayan hotel back on the same way to chhomrong passing the rhododendrons forests, oak tree
, bamboo and same way till reaching chhomrong.
Day 12: Trek to Ghandrung (1940 m) 5-6 hrs.
From chhomrong walkin up and down passing kimrong khola(river) and small village , tea-house we will
be in ghandruk village in about 6 hours which is also called gurung village. It reflects the identity of gurung
people and their culture.
Day 13: Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara.
Today we have 3-4 hrs walk and 2 hours drive respectively The last day trek starts from ghandruk to
pokhara. We need to walk up to nayapul and drive 2 hour to pokhara. On the way you can see a lovely
view of Annapurna Himalayan range as well.
Day 14: Transfer to Airport for the flight back to Kathmandu.
Transfer to airport or tourist Bus Park by your guide.
Day 15: Free day at leisure in Kathmandu. O/N Hotel.
A free day in Kathmandu, please inform our staff if you would like to go on another short tour in and
around Kathmandu Valley or can do mountain flight to Everest.
Day 16 Transfer to Airport for International departure.
Today is the last day in Himalayan country Nepal so our staff will drop you airport for your international
flights.

planning of every detail was the making of the trek . From the moment we exited the airport Shanta was

leadership insured we had all the correct equipment . On the trek Shanta great knowledge of the area
was invaluable. Likewise, he walked along with all of us chatting away so he could individualize the trek to
each of our party. A wonderful skill that enhanced our trip to the max.
We start our annapurna base camp trek with a sightseeing tour in Kathmandu valley. Swyambhunath,
pashupatinath and durber square are the places we visited with tour guide. He told us about history and
importance of this places. The next day we drive to pokhara which is one of the best tourist destinations
in Nepal. We had a good time in pokhara city. Then we start our trip to Annapurna base camp passing
many villages and viewpoints. We experiences lots of things on this trek. Likewise,we saw Annapurna
mountain and fishtail mountain. Fishtail mountain is the another best attractions of this trek. On the way
back we have lots of fun on Jhinu danda. Additionally,jhinu danda has natural hot springs where we take
bath. After being on base camp its good to spend few hour in this pool.
After back from Kathmandu shanta takes us to dinner in thamel. As well as the place have live cultural
show. Additionally, we dances together and make a great memory of Nepal. Thanks Magic Himalaya
