These tests shall not relieve the contractor of any of his responsibilties and he shall take all necessary precautions to insure the safely and protection of such tested items unt the termination of the work. 1.3.11 Three copies of all test results shall be submitted to the Engineer. 14 ‘Submittals 144 ‘Two copies of Testing, Adjusting and Air Balancing strategies plans to be submitted. Plans should show step-by-step procedures as specified in Part 3 Include also a complete set of report forms intended for use on this Project. 142 ‘Submit two coples of reports prepared, as specified in this Section, on approved forms cerified by Testing, Adjusting and Air Balancing firm. 143 Warranties if specified in this Section. 18 Quality Assurance 164 Ensure the participation of Testing, Adjusting and Air Balancing team members, ‘equipment manufacturers’ authorized service representatives, HVAC controls installers, ‘and other support personnel. Provide notice in advance of scheduled meeting time and lecation 162 Coordinate the efforts of factory-authorized service representatives for systems and equipment, HVAC controls installers, and other mechanics to operate HVAC systems and equipment to support and assist Testing, Adjusting and Air Balancing activities. 153 Certify Testing, Adjusting and Air Balancing field data reports by reviewing field data reports to validate accuracy of data, and certify that Testing, Adjusting and Air Balancing team complied with approved Testing, Adjusting and Air Balancing plan and the procedures specified and referenced in this Specification, 154 Use approved standard forms. 185 Calibrate instruments at least every six months or more frequently as required by instrument manufacturer.
