2. Algebra: Polynomials, Complex Numbers, Inequalities (like Cauchy-Schwarz,


Tchebycheff's etc.), Functional Equations.

3.Geometry: Some theorems (Classics being Ceva's theorem, Menelaus' theorem and
their converses), Concurrency and collinearity, Pythagoras theorem, Properties of
triangles, Constructions, Nine-point Circle.

4.Combinatorics: Basic Counting principles, Permutations and Combinations, The


Pigeon-hole Principle, Principle of Inclusion and Exclusion, Recurrence Relations

The above list may not be exhaustive, but definitely is the first step to start preparing.
Problems can be solved by techniques not mentioned in this list too.
