How to configure DAP-1860 as Repeater.

(Note: Please ensure the device LED is blinking orange colour before you do
setup.
If it is not blinking in orange colour, follow the guide on page 4 on how to reset
the device before follow the guide to setup.)

Step 1: Copy down the wireless name and password that was on the sticker of the device.

Step 2: Plug DAP-1860 direct to power outlet.

Step 3: Click on the Computer Icon on the right bottom side of the Windows. Select the Wireless
network name that was copy down.

Step 4: Enter the Wifi Password which had copy down earlier on. Click on OK.

Step 5: Open Internet Explorer and enter http://192.168.0.50 on the URL bar.

Step 6: Click on X.

Step 7: Click on OK.

Step 8: Click on Settings and select Extender.

Step 9: Select Wi-Fi for Existing Network. Click on Scan.

Step 10: Select the Wi-Fi Network which you want to repeat. Click on Select

Step 11: Key in the Wi-Fi Password for the Wi-Fi name you select. Click on Connect.

Step 12 a) You can change the default SSID to a desired SSID in the field for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz.
b) Please key in 8-Digit characters password in the Password field for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz.

Step 13: Click on Save

Step 14: Click on Reboot Now

How to reset DAP-1860.

Step 1: Plug DAP-1860 direct to power outlet.

Step 2: Power on DAP-1860 and wait for 1 min.

Step 3: Use a paper clip to press and hold the Reset Button for 30 second.

Step 4: Wait for 2 min for the device to fully power on after reset.
