This year, | worked alongside Dalley when she joined the 6th grade team. Dalley transitioned into the role as 6th grade teacher with ease and confidence. She creates a positive learning environment and helps her students thrive academically. They understand that Dalley is there to support them and respond positively to her instruction. She sets high expectations for her students and provides them with the tools necessary to be successful in not only her classroom, but for the future. Dalley has a natural feel for teaching. While she is an independent problem solver, she welcomes suggestions and is eager to learn. Her use of technology during instruction prepares students for future careers and provides them the skills necessary for success. Additionally, during collaborative planning with our grade level, she shared ways to incorporate technology to enhance lessons in all subject areas. In particular, she utilizes technology to appeal to her students interests. Dalley has provided her students opportunities to engage with technology through the use of Nearpod, Kahoot, and Google Classroom. Dalley is admired and respected by both students and faculty.
