ELLIE, THE CURIOUS BABY ELEPHANT

A very good morning to the honourable judges, teachers and friends. I would like to tell a
styory entitle Ellie, the curious baby elephant.

Ellie is a baby elephant. He is very active baby elephant. His parents protect him with their
elephant herd.

One day, Ellie walked away from his herd because he chasing a ladybug. Now he is far away
from them, but he never feel scared since he is full curiosity to know everything. The
ladybug already gone but Ellie wondering around just to fulfil his curiosity.

Ribbit, ribbit. Ellie shocked. What is that sound? Ellie wondering. He looks around and
found a little green creature at a pond. Who are you? Asked Ellie. Oh, hello there, Im
Fregie a frog. Im look after of my child. Where are your children? I dont see any, asked
Ellie. These tadpoles are my children, they will change to frogs when they grow up said
Fregie. Oh! That interesting said Ellie eagerly. Okay Fregie, all the best in taking care of
them, bye. Said Ellie and walk away from the pond.

Then Ellie meet a fawn. Hi little deer, whats your name?asked Ellie. Im a fawn, not yet a -
deer my friend. My name is Dory. Im here with my mom. Said Dory. Ellie look around to
find Dorys mother. Where is your mother Dory? asked Ellie. Oh, well my mom is under
that tree with my dad, they are having their lunch right now, said Dory. Is that your father
who have beautiful horns?Asked Ellie. Yes, I will have that kind of horn too when I grow
up, said Dory happily. That is wonderful! You will be as handsome as your father when you
grow up,said Ellie excitedly. Ellie left Dory with their parent and go to a flower bush.

A beautiful butterfly is flying around the bush. Hi beautiful butterfly, I love your colourful
wings, said Ellie to the butterfly. Hi Ellie, thank you very much, reply the butterfly. She
flies and land on Ellie trunk. Anyway, my name is Betty, I just look around the bush and
checking my babies progress. Ellie seems confused, he ask I dont see any small butterfly
around the bush. Where is your babies?. Hahaha, Betty laugh. Ellie, my babies are
caterpillars. I lay the eggs and they become caterpillars. They will become butterfly like me
after they changed to pupa from the caterpillars for sometimes. Betty fly away to the bush
and fly around the bush. there are five caterpillars here, you can see them eating the
leaves here, say Betty.
