The Casting Couch
The casting couch, casting-couch syndrome or casting-couch mentality is the trading of sexual favours by an aspirant,
apprentice employee or subordinate to a superior in return for entry into an occupation, or for other career
advancement within an organization. The term "casting couch" originated in the motion picture industry, with specific
reference to couches in offices that could be used for sexual activity between casting directors or film producers and
aspiring actresses or actors.

The term is now often used to refer to other industries besides entertainment, through careers which are highly
desirable and traditionally difficult to break into. Such trading of favours can be an abuse of powerpossibly even
statutory rapeand can become a wider sex scandal if deemed newsworthy.

You, the Human Resource Manager of Google, which is a part of your portfolio, have been accused of indulging in Casting
Couch while admitting Ms. Andrea Simon into the organization. Ms. Andrea Simon has given a statement to the press
regarding your behaviour towards her and you did not give a statement in your defence. The news is flashing world-wide
and Google being one of the most desirable workplace since years, is now being looked down upon on account of your
deeds. The senior HR Manager has asked you to submit him a report addressing the matter.

Guidelines:

1. Teams of 3 must be formed. Keep in mind, these must be the same as HR round 1 & 2. If you didnt participate in
that round, youre to form a new team.
