Bethichern Area School District Hanover Elementary School Bethlehem, Pennsylvania 18017 610-691-3210 Miss Draklellis was my student teacher during the spring of 2017. While she was at our school, her lessons were well planned and promoted student involvement. She was extremely flexible with the schedule and handled unexpected situations with ease. Miss Draklellis was prompt each day and was self-assured at all times. In the classroom, she was always respectful to students and encouraged students’ questions during her lessons. She established clear standards and maintained them with the students. Her class transitions went smoothly which prevented loss of instructional time. In her class discussions, she consistently encouraged students to express opinions and take risks. She provided many opportunities for pupil interaction. During her lessons, she gave clear direct student directions. Miss Draklellis corrected assessments and recorded them into our grading system. She improved in using informal assessment as a diagnostic tool to develop and revise tasks for students, She was working on designing adaptations for individual students. Miss Draklellis gave prompt feedback to students during her lessons. She was always receptive to constructive criticism and implemented suggestions. Miss Draklellis was a pleasure to work with in our classroom. The students enjoyed having her as their teacher. I know she will be an excellent teacher and any school would be lucky to have her.
