CLINICAL TEACHING
I had the opportunity to complete my clinical teaching at two campuses inside two very
diverse classroom settings. Throughout my experiences, I managed 24+ students, attended
parent-teacher conferences, IEP meetings, after school events, and staff meetings, all of
which correlated to student success. I designed unit plans based on an array of areas (i.e.
objectives, prior knowledge, ELPS, CCRS, IEPs, varied learning styles, etc.), although I also
documented and charted the students pre-assessments to develop objectives that were
developmentally appropriate in order to benefit all students learning. Further skills
acquired and areas learned during my clinical teaching are provided below.
