6th Kolhapur International Film Festival, 2017 will be organized in the month of December 2017.

The
Film Society have a Short Films competition in Short Film section of upcoming Maay Marathi Film
Competition 2017. Those who would like to participate will have to fill up the online form given in the
below site.

Competition Categories (Short Film)

Category1: Documentary (Non-Fiction)
Category2: Fiction

Prizes:
In both the categories, it has 3 cash prizes for the first 3 winners!
1 st prize Rs 15000/-
2 nd prize Rs 10000/-
3 rd prize Rs 5000/-
Rules For Short Film Competition:
1. Any Individual/Organization in India can participate in this category.
2. Online form has to be filled before Oct 31st,2017(Last date) before submission of the film.
3. Maximum length of the short film should not exceed 30 minutes of duration.
4. Short film can be in any language but should carry English Subtitles.
5. It can be made on any subject, no restrictions on the subject.
6. Film school students or any university students have to submit a form authorized by Dean/Principle
of that particular Institute/College/University.
7. All the short films should be produced after October 2016.
8. The first 3 winners will receive the cash prizes of above said amount in both the categories.
9. Results declared by the jury and Selection committee will be final.
10. Hospitality and Travel expenses (Not Airfare) will be provided for the winning filmmakers.
