Expression of Interest Developing Guidelines and Standards for Design of Campus Facilities he Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan is establishing new universities and sub campuses in almost every district headquarter of the country in consultation and collaboration with the provincial governments to improve equitable access to higher education across the Country. This will require development and expansion of infrastructure and academic faciities. HEC considers that tha purpose of a university is to bring together diverse people and their ideas in an environment that creates potential for intellectual and social exchange, A university plan must have the potential to knit together the diverse elaments of the campus ina coherentway, HEC Islamabad intends to cevelop guidelines and standards for design of campus facilities, The building code and zoning ordinance should establish minimum regulations to cover aspects ofthe construction, alteration, addition, repairing. changing of occupancy, demolition, Of avery building Structure and any appurtenances attached to the building structure. For this purpose, HEC is seeking the services of consultants with requisite qualification and experience to Carry out this task. Interested Consultants may obtain TORs from the office of undersignedon payment of As. 800/- on or before January 20, 2017 during warking hours.
