Procedure for turning left, right and parking

Mirrors ASAP, immediately

Signal faster the speed, longer the cars lengths e.g. 30 mph, 4-5 car lengths. Can be done
with indicators or with brake lights

Position be against centre line of road, for roundabouts, get into the correct lane e.g. right
hand lane for right turns.

Speed about 12mph, in second gear esp at right turns

Looking for cars, pedestrians, cyclist, motorcyclists, traffic etc. to make judgement

For emerging left turns (major road to much more major road) (Looking extension):

Looking no glancing, actually looking to see what is there, can you see? Are you sure?

Assess what are your options, is that car going too fast for you to turn? People? Cyclists?

Decision what should you do? Clutch down and stop, or go?

Action either stop or go.
