Gallery Rules

- You must submit your childs photo at least1 calendar month prior to the actual month of
birth in order for the chance for your childs photo to appear on in the online Birthday Book
gallery and on Disney Junior. Eg: If the Birthday is in July then photos can be submitted up to
midday on 1st June.

- Your child must be between 2 7 years old to appear in the galleries.

- All photos will be moderated prior to being considered to appear online or on air. To ensure
your photo passes moderation please ensure you adhere to the following:

o You must be over 18 to submit a photo and be a resident of the UK or Ireland.

o Please login to your Disney account or register to enter. Please note that your age
will be determined from the information associated with your Disney account.

o The photo must only have the image of your birthday child in it. No other people
may be featured. This is due to our clearance and compliance procedures. If you
have a set of twins/triplets etc... please submit one photo per child.

o The photo must be in full colour and a minimum of 500kb this is to ensure quality
for on air broadcast. The photo must be of reasonable quality, i.e. in focus, not
blurry, with the birthday child in clear view

o There must not be any personal or private information about yourself, the birthday
child, or others in the photo. (e.g. email addresses, telephone numbers, school
names, full names)

o First Names must not contain any numbers or symbols. Double barrelled first names
must be hyphenated. Your childs surname must not be included.

o Photos must not have any words or text in the background

o Photos must not include abusive, harassing, insulting or threatening behaviour or

that could be deemed to be bigoted, hateful, racially offensive or vulgar.

o Photos must be suitable for the Disney Junior audience and must generally pertain
to the theme of the gallery.

o Photos must not be of anyone or anything/anyone famous or recognizable due to

copyright infringement issues (e.g. celebrities, trademarks and logos)

o The child in the photo must be fully clothed, no naked or partially naked images will
be considered for online or on-air.

o The image must not contain any profane language or imagery.

o The images must not contain any large logos on clothing or in the
background/foreground of the image.
Birthday Gallery Rules

- All photos that meet the criteria and pass moderation will be uploaded onto our online
gallery, and a random selection will be featured on-air in Disney Junior Channel. We cannot
guarantee that your photo will be shown on-air and we cannot accept special requests to
feature specific photographs.

- We are not able to send you any copies or print outs of your photo in the gallery or on-air.

- Disney reserves the right to remove any photos from the gallery without warning or
notification

- By submitting your childs image you confirm (i) that you are they owner of the image
submitted, (ii) that the image does not knowingly copy or infringe the rights of any other
person (iii) that you are the childs parent or legal guardian and (iv) Disney is permitted to
reproduce and use the image submitted by you on any media (including without limitation
TV, online and publishing channels and social media platforms) anywhere in the world and
without a time limit in order to carry out the activity.

- To upload your image we will ask you to either submit your existing Disney username and
password or to register your personal details with us. Your personal information will be
used in accordance with Disneys current published Privacy Policy . Personal information will
only be used for direct marketing purposes if you have consented to receive future
marketing from Disney (you may have already done this if you have registered your details
with Disney previously).
