Written and produced by Hannah Nightingale

EXT. WOODLAND. DAY.

Scene 1

Colin caterpillar is just sitting on his leaf, nibbling away. Suddenly he

hears the laughs and giggles of his fellow classmates playing in the
sky. At first he smiles, gazing up happy to see his friends, but then
his expression changes into a sad upset face. He feels very left out.
His friends start coming closer; he thinks maybe theyre coming to
play with him. Perking up with a smile growing on his face, he yells:

COLIN: Hey, maybe we could play on my leaf today!

LARRY: Leaves are for losers.

LARRY and BARRY fly off sniggering, knocking Colins leaf as they
go, making him fall to the ground.

Scene 2

COLIN: I just wanna be like everyone else. (Sobs)

Colin felt so alone and left out wondering why his friends would do
such a thing to him. He remained sad and lonely for days until he
was so tired and sleepy he started going into a cocoon.

Scene 3

BARRY: I miss the fun we have with Colin

LARRY: Me too, I feel so sad without him.

BARRY and LARRY felt so guilty about treating COLIN the way they
did, so they went to his leaf to wake him up and apologise. To
everyones amazement, COLIN emerged from his cocoon as a
beautiful butterfly.

LARRY: Were sorry we left you out just because you couldnt fly.

BARRY: Yeah that was very mean Colin, we miss you
