Invitation for Contribution (call for papers) 2017; Volume 3 - Issue I - 2017

Respected Sir,
Greetings from Gujarat National Law University!
The Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) has been emerged as one of the premier institutes in
India and overseas. GNLU as a center of excellence in the field of legal education with aims to
impart high quality legal education, research and professional training and serve for the society,
invite contribution from you, faculty members and students of your institution/Department/college
in the form of articles, notes and comments for its upcoming Gujarat Law Journal, Volume 3-Issue
I-2017 ((ISSN NO 2249-9644).
The journal is bi-annual and peer-reviewed from Gujarat National Law University. The theme of
the journal is Ease doing business in Gujarat: Global Perspective. The journal emphasis on
contemporary issues and challenges specific to law with an inter-disciplinary approach towards
integrating knowledge and understanding. The erudite response from legal luminaries shall be
solicited to enable the readers to explore challenges that lie before legislators, lawyers and the society
at large.
The journal encourages and seeks to promote original contribution. Manuscripts should send for
publication must contain original thought and research and must not have been published earlier.
All contributions should be submitted latest by 30/6/2017.
The contribution should be accepted only in soft copy and should be sent on kgupta@gnlu.ac.in.
The contributors are advised to refer the submission guidelines attached herewith.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
General:
Note: All contributors are requested to submit papers, Certificate, Abstract etc. ONLINE
ONLY.
1. Covering Letter and Certificate: (scanned copy only)
All contributions must be accompanied by a covering letter stating the title, authors full name,
university and year of study and the authors contact details. Only the covering letter should contain
the above mentioned details and not the manuscript.
All contributors must submit the Certificate of original contribution along with contribution.
2. Abstract:
The typescript should be accompanied by an abstract in about 200 words.
Submissions specific:
3. MAIN TEXT Garamond, font size 12, 1.5 spacing, justified, with a margin left 1.5 inch
and right 1.0 inch, top 1inch and bottom 1 inch in MS word.
4. FOOT NOTES Garamond, font size 10.
5. CITATION -The Bluebook: A Uniform Method of Citation, 18th Edition should be strictly
adhered to.
6. REFERENCES - The style of referencing should be The Oxford University Standard for
Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA)

Length of contribution:

The length of the contribution including tables, diagrams, illustrations etc., should be maximum of
7000 words. Short communications, book reviews, case studies/executive experience sharing, etc.
should not exceed 3000 words; however, the Editorial Board reserves the right to make changes to
this condition.
