To Whom It May Concern,
1am writing this letter in recommendation of Mr. Max Kestner for
the music teaching position in your district. I have known Mr.
Kestner for about four years now, and have noted his maturity and
musicianship. His work in my courses, including teaching general
music, and secondary vocal music was consistently good and
showed insight into selecting age appropriate material for students
at various levels.
Mr. Kestner has a good grasp on musicianship, and his approach to
teaching and developing lessons focuses on creating motivating
activities which foster a sense of success in students, as well as
teaching music concepts.
am always impressed with his interest in a variety of musical
areas, and have enjoyed many conversations with him as he
explored the subject and ways of teaching. Max is always eager to
try new ways to reach the student. His participation in the vocal,
orchestral, and band activities at the University has added to the
quality of musical life in our department and the community.
Personally, Max is pleasant, well spoken, and always professional.
He has an enthusiasm for teaching and will work well with
students, parents, and administration,
If you have any further questions regarding Mr. Kestner’s
qualifications, please do not hesitate to contact me, or anyone else
in the EIU music department.
Sincerely >
