Theconcept
underlying
seeingthrough
opaque
obstaclesis
similartoradar
andsonar
imaging.
Specifically,
whenfaced
withanon
metallicwall,a
fractionofthe
RFsignal
would
penetratethe
wall,reflectoff
objectsand
humans,and
comeback
imprintedwith
asignatureof
whatisinsidea
closedroom.
Bycapturing
these
reflections,we
canimage
objectsbehind
awall.
