As discussed and agreed, the rear or internal side of the ground level columns of the western facade will

not be broken out due to the disruption caused to the occupants of this floor.

This decision was made with the understanding of the risk that spalling may occur in the future.
However, the cost and interruption to the occupants is believed to be not significantly worse with the
new alucobond cladding system that will be in place in the future. Meaning that it does not make much
difference whether these areas are repaired now or in the future.

Ultimately, this may provide a cost-saving as the areas may never require repair.
