A VISIT TO THE Z00 Last Sunday, my father took my Sister and I to the zoo. There were many ‘animals at the zoo. We enjoyed watching the monkeys swinging from one tree to another. The elephant was squirting water onto its back with its long trunk. My sister waved at the hippopotamus while I watched the giraffes eat leaves from a tall tree. We sat under @ shady tree to have our lunch at one in the afternoon. After lunch, we went to see the tigers and lions before going home. FOOTBALL GAME ‘Ahmad like to play Football with his friends. Every Saturday, they will meet at two o'clock at a big field. Ahmad walks to the field from his house. There is usually no one at the field as the weather is very hot at that time. When they finish playing at four o'clock, they will go to a food centre for a drink. As they enjoy their cold drink, they will talk about the soccer matches that they have watched on television. The boys will leave the food centre when it is time for dinner.‘AN ACCIDENT Zainal was walking to school when he heard a loud bang. He turned around and saw a man with a helmet lying on the ground beside a motorcycle. The man was groaning in pain and there was blood on his legs. A few passers-by quickly carried him to the pavement. Meanwhile, many people had gathered at the scene of the ‘accident. An ambulance arrived shor ly and took the man to the hospital. LATE FOR SCHOOL One hot afternoon, after taking her lunch, Lucy walked to the bus-stop to wait For @ bus. At the bus-stop, she found that she had left her purse at home. She rushed home to get her purse. Then she hurried back to the bus-stop. If the bus did not come soon, she would be late for school. Lucky for her, the bus soon arrived. But in the middle of the town, the bus was caught in a traffic jam. So Lucy was late for school. A prefect took down her name and that upset her.
