In [1], the performance matrices for dual branch switch and stay combining (SSC) diversity system over

- fading
channels were discussed. The expression for moment was obtained in three different forms that were used to derive
the expression for average SNR (signal to noise ratio) and Amount of fading (AF). Further, the expression for
Moment Generating function (MGF), outage probability and BER over different coherent and non-coherent
modulation schemes are obtained. The numerical results were best matched with simulation results.

The expression for average symbol error probability of rectangular quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) over
generalized K channel was proposed in [2]. The numerical result was compared with simulated results to validate
the proposed model.

The expression for channel capacity of dual branch switch and stay combining (SSC) over - and - channel are
proposed in []. The channel capacity expressions of - and - distribution was derived under different adaptive
transmission techniques like ORA (optimal rate adaption) with constant power, CIFR (Channel inversion with fixed
rate) and TCIFR(Truncated channel inversion with fixed rate). The expressions for optimum adaptive switching
thresholds were obtained in closed form. Moreover the numerical results were compared with simulated results to
validate the model.
