Reflection

(Minimum of 3-4 sentences per question)

1. Briefly describe the field experience. What did you learn about technology coaching and technology leadership from completing this field
experience?

This was a wonderful field experience. I attended the IDEAS conference held in St. Simons, Ga. The conference was full of educators from all over. People
shared new ideas about adaptive and assistive technology. Many new ideas and technology were shared and learned.

2. How did this learning relate to the knowledge (what must you know), skills (what must you be able to do) and dispositions (attitudes, beliefs,
enthusiasm) required of a technology facilitator or technology leader? (Refer to the standards you selected above. Use the language of the PSC
standards in your answer and reflect on all 3knowledge, skills, and dispositions.)

This learning allowed me to use my knowledge, skills, and dispositions to facilitate the use of adaptive and assistive technologies to support individual
student learning needs. I will now be able to use the knowledge and skills learned from this field experience to assist students to meet their needs. This
experience was very beneficial for teaching students online as well. There are many online components learned that would be great to use with students who
need assistive technology online.

3. Describe how this field experience impacted school improvement, faculty development or student learning at your school. How can the impact be
assessed?

This field experience will impact school improve and student learning in many ways. I learned about many different adaptive and assistive technology
devices that will be able to use. I can use and will share what I learned at the conference with my colleagues to use for our students at school. Our school
special education department lacks tools for assistive and adaptive technology therefore, I think they will be glad to hear about the free tools I learned.
