To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to strongly recommend Mrs. Linda Schweitzer for a teaching position

in the Temecula Valley Unified School District.

I had the opportunity to work with Mrs. Schweitzer during her first student
teaching experience. I was very pleased to see this was not her first teaching
experience. She came in with a year of substitute teaching, including a long term
experience. She was always well prepared and very professional. She planned
and instructed in all academic areas. Her specialty subject was mathematics. Her
interest and knowledge in mathematical areas enabled her to plan valuable
lessons and activities that students really enjoyed. Her lessons included student
involvement, technology, and appropriate levels of rigor. She was able to adjust
her lessons for optimal student learning.

Linda worked very well with my second graders. I also had the opportunity to
observe her working with kindergarteners and fourth graders. She was effective
and comfortable with both sets of students.

Every interaction with Mrs. Schweitzer was pleasant, professional, and

constructive. She has the ability to work well with administrators, staff members,
paraprofessionals, and especially children. She would be a true asset to any staff.
