9. Describe an ICT activity you have done, which showcases your best use of ICT for
Education (attach supporting evidence, if any):

I shot a VIDEO with the class room walls which are decorated with CLASS
SUBJECTS in Oil paintings with my mobile NOKIA N series and presented in a
LOCAL CABLE CHANNAL.

This video attracted the public and joined their children in our Government
School taking TCs from private schools.

I prepared a power point presentation on DISCHARGE TUBE and the


REACTIONS take place in the Tube at various pressure points at different
Voltages.
This video attracted and made curiosity in pupils.

Describe (in about 500 words) your strategy implemented for use of ICT in
teaching-learning. The write up should highlight the educational issues, integration
of ICT tools, e-resources and students involvement in ICT integration.

There is no doubt that ICT makes teaching interest and easy. It creates
interest in students and drag their attraction to wards lessons.
I brought forward the un seen equipment like DISCHARGE TUBE,
NEUCLEANS ELECTRONIC MICROSCOPE etc.,, to my students.
With my power point presentations I made my class room environment
interest.
Pupils tried to learn themselves with the Power point presentations made in
an interacted way.
I prepared AUDIO MATERIAL for competitive examinations with the help
of my friends. This material made convenient to the employment aspirants
to hear subject even they are on other work.
My students made 10th class PHYSICAL SCIENCE AUDIO MATERIAL.
This brought 100% pass in my section.
Pupils learnt to search the topics they need in internet by themselves.
They got the ability to down load material for competitions and for
preparing PROJECT WORKS.
They got the capability to use whats app. They can use SMART PHONE in
a right way.
I used ICT in the departmental trainings, thus I dragged the attention of all
teachers towards the subject.
I trained and guided some of my colleagues to prepare e-content, down
loading, searching content in internet etc.,
Pupils enjoyed lessons which are taught in ICT base, and told they can
remember these lessons.
It clearly shows us that ICT based lessons impacts the minds of pupils
directly, and prints in their minds permanently.
Pupils enjoy the lessons as they are watching movies. They can sit and listen
these lessons hours together without any hesitation and fatigue.
In ICT we are using ANIMATED PPICTURES, MELLIFLUOUS MUSIC,
as a result pupils curiously concentrate on lessons.
By using ICT I prepared posters against AIDS, usage of PLASTIC to
protect OZONE LAYER etc., thus I maintain social responsibility.

2. How has ICT helped you in your own professional growth? Describe how it has

helped you improve as a teacher.

There is no doubt that ICT helps to enrich the knowledge and


techniques.
So, automatically it helps in our teaching profession.
When I was working in elementary school I observed that kids are
having fear towards MATHS. They are vexed to do home works too. In
such conditions with the help if ICT prepared some PUZZLES related
to Mathes, downloaded some videos from YOU TUBE. To solve
puzzles kids began to asked me to give more mathematical puzzles and
began to work even at home voluntarily. Then I hats off to the ICT by
which I driven away the fear from the hearts and minds of kids.
I prepared CDs with some of my power point presentations and donated to
Mandal Resource Centers (MRCs). These were prepared on self learning
basis and pupil friendly manner.
I learnt so many techniques to teach in easy methods, to adopt student
friendly methods.
I clarified my doubts by using internet.
I learnt to present lessons in class room in an attractive way.

showing clearly how it helps you address educational issues.

My kids were in confusion to imagine about the reactions in


discharge tube. Then I prepared a power point presentations gave
them a clear picture and enjoyed the lesson/
In general in in service teacher training teachers show less interest in
listening. Then as a Resource Person I used ICT i.e., Lap top and
LCD projector to drag the full attention of all teachers and made the
in-service training successful.
I made a film with my NOKIA-72 phone and telecasted in local
channel, which boosted up the strength in my school.
As a responsible member of the society I prepared posters against
AIDS, usage of PLASTIC etc.,
