Personal Goals

 There are several specific personal goals that I will strive to achieve
throughout my nursing career. These goals exemplify what I believe are the
attributes of an excellent nurse dedicated to career long learning.

Short Term
-Within 3 months I will pass the NCLEX with 1 attempt by completing all of
the recommended ATI modules and attending a NCLEX prep course.
- Within 1 year I will obtain the position of RN with a magnet status hospital
through networking at hiring events, job applications, and improving my
qualifications.

Long Term
-Within 4 years I will attend a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner
Program and obtain my NP by completing all prerequisites and increasing my
hospital/community involvement.
-Within 5 years I will learn Spanish to better communicate with my patients
by enrolling in language classes at my local community college.
