ABSTRAK

Role as a major transport roads to facilitate the regional economy . With

the improvement of adequate road infrastructure is a part of the comfort and
safety of all road users , both in carrying out their duties in carrying out the
principal and other social activities . The purpose of this study was to determine
whether road maintenance to function properly or not can be determined so that
the segment parts that need to be prioritized road handling.
The research was conducted on Jalan Sudirman - Ra . Kartini and
analysis used to determine the condition of the damage refers to the method of
Pavement Condition Index ( PCI ) . Condition of pavement on roads that
were reviewed in this study under conditions of moderate (fair ) with an average
value of PCI 45.6 % . With this kind of damage there is Hole 1.99 % , Edge
Crack 0.97 % , Remove Grain 0.42 % , Cracked Leather Crocodile 0,40 %
Cracks Elongated 0.26%, vanish 0.24% and curly 0,16% .
