We deeply appreciate the opportunity to provide a valuable service to seniors and their families in the Beavercreek community. Gur commitment to safety includes being transparent about the recent arrest of a licensed nurse who is no longer employed with our facifity. The purpose of this letter is to share the latest information we have with all members of the Pristine Senior Living of Beavercreek community. The Beavercreek police department is conducting an investigation, which is ongoing and proceeding with our full cooperation. We have been told that the licensed nurse's criminal activity involves three of our residents. in the initial stages of the investigation, involvement of our residents was inconclusive. We have informed families whose loved ones have been identified. The police investigation is advancing rapidly and we will provide another update as soon as that can be done without impeding investigative efforts. Piease know that from the outset of this incident, the well-being of our residents has driven our proactive course of action. Additionally, we reported this nurse's license to the Ohio Board of Nursing. We want to assure you that Pristine Senior Living of Beavercreek has always maintained good hiring practices by carefully screening alt employees, including conducting detailed criminal background checks. We have had, and will continue to provide, on-going training to employees. The former licensed nurse in question received all of this training and signed statements acknowledging receipt of and agreeing to comply with our policies and practices. As many of you know, this licensed nurse was well-liked by many residents and families. Nothing in this licensed nurse’s history or job performance presented cause for concern. Finally, there are many people affected by this licensed nurse’s actions: the identified residents, families, staff and the Pristine Senior Living of Beavercreek community. Pristine Senior Living of Beavercreek will continue to cooperate with the Beavercreek Police Department to ensure that justice is served.
