GSMST

2017-18 | Supply Lists for Grades 10-12

School supplies for GSMST students in grades 10-12 should be kept with the student. [If a class wide
need for materials arises during the year, perhaps to provide for a special project or curricular
opportunity, that information will be shared by the individual teacher or subject team involved.]

Purchase Once and Reuse Each Year Items Needed Every Year
Molded Ethernet Cable (3-6) 3-Ring Binders (1 per course)

USB Drive (16 GB or larger) College Ruled (loose leaf) Notebook Paper

Plastic or Metal Ruler (with metric units) Pens (Black/Blue) and Pencils (#2 equivalent)
Plastic or Metal Protractor (without swing arm) Colored Highlighters

Colored Pencils Graph Paper

Calculators:
The calculator that GSMST students need any particular year depends largely on the math class in which
the student is enrolled. Once students reach Accelerated Pre-Calculus or higher, they will need a TI-83
or TI-84 family graphing calculator. Prior to that course students can survive with almost any scientific
calculator. A large number of students simply choose to purchase a TI-84+ or a TI-Nspire early in their
GSMST career and properly maintain it through graduation and into college.
