    Ifyou'recopyingaVHDtouseitforanothervirtualinstanceonthesamemachine,VirtualBoxwilldisplayan
    errorwhiletryingtoattachthenewVHDstatingthatthediskUUIDisalreadyregistered.Tosolvethisproblem,
    youcansimplychangetheUUIDofyourcopiedVHD.Followthesestepstodoso:

    1.OpenaDOScommandbox
    2.NavigatetothepathwhereyouhaveinstalledVirtualBox(usuallyc:\programfiles\Oracle\VirtualBox)
    3.Executethefollowingcommand:

    vboxmanageinternalcommandssethduuid"<fullpathtoVHD>"

    4.ThiswillchangetheUUIDtoanewrandomUUID.YouwillnowbeabletoattachittoVirtualBox.
