The demand of ice cream in the Philippines stays higher whether it is hot or rainy
season.

In the Philippines, ice cream is one of the marketable sweetened ice dessert that can be
purchase in supermarkets, convenience stores, retail stores and ice cream shops. 25%

within the Greater Manila Area between 2004 and 2008, with 60% of total volume
purchased there. [4] The average per capita consumption stands at 1.4 kilogram in 2017.
Revenue in the ice cream segment amounts to USD 381 million in 2017. The market is
expected to grow annually by 4.1%. [5]

Ice cream industry in the Philippines has three product segments which are the
Artisanal Ice Cream, Impulse Ice Cream, and Take-Home Ice Cream. Examples of
Artisanal Ice cream are Carmens Best, Sebastians, Merry Moo, Poco Deli and Mad
Marks while Impulse Ice Cream example Selecta Cornetto, Creamline Dairy

Today, the largest player of ice cream market is Selecta, garnering more than
half or 54% percent of the total sales of ice cream in the Philippines since 2005 until
today. [3]
