my motivation to pursue my further studies in Australia. I have chosen to study Diploma of Business
followed by Bachelor of Business in Southern Cross University. I am going to project my studies, financial
status and future plans and hereby assure you that all the information provided here are correct and
true.

Academic and Family Background and Financial Arrangements

My family consists of four members; my parents, a younger sister and me. My parents work at @s, a
reputed company widespread in Nepal. My sister is doing her Year 11 from @College, Damak. My family
is very much positive about my decision of studying in Australia. They have been dreaming of seeing me
as a successful businessman. From the very early age, I was influenced by my parents work and
dedication which grew an intimate relation with their work developing a concept of business. My
parents are very hard-working team members of their company. After I decided to continue my studies
in Australia my parents have assured a Bank loan of NPR 40 Lakhs from Nepal SBI Bank Ltd, Damak
Branch. We have strong income source of Salary, House rent and Land leased for various purposes.
Apart from this, I have my paternal aunt, currently residing at Lalitpur, Nepal who works at Gems School
and is willing to sponsor for my further studies.

My schooling started from @ English School, Anarmani from where I completed SLC in 2013 with %.
After that, I joined @l Higher Secondary School for my Year 11 and 12 with Management stream and
completed with first division in the year 2015. As an eager person, I have always wanted to improve my
qualifications because of changing global scenarios and high demand of qualified professionals
worldwide. To make it clearer; I realized that I had to complete my Bachelor degree to be more
competent in the field so as to be worthy for brighter job prospects and better future. As a result, I
contemplated over my aims in life and academic environment I longed for in reality. While researching
for options and destinations, I came up with Australia which got to fit my desire. I made up my mind to
complete my Bachelor degree from a reputed university and most of universities in Australia are world
recognized and known for quality education. That cravings made me go through counseling and website
surfing looking for the real environment for my overall growth. I came to know that Australia has been a
major attraction among international students to fulfill their academic pursuits. So, I decided to pursue
my study in Australia which I believe will boost my experience greatly and enhance my professional
career.

has been known for quality education worldwide. Furthermore, the best part is that it has one of the

qualified and innovative graduates every year. Latest techniques and tools used for teaching with
enough of technology introduced inside the classrooms and expert teaching staffs have attracted a large

technology as major helping hand in training students the subjects students have chosen. I am delighted
by knowing the number of universities offering bright future and successful career to thousands of
students of which I also want to be a part of. In fact, it has been lately realized that Australia has come

would further nurture my learning environment and experiences more lively and in-depth which will

Cross University. This package will enable me to have in depth understanding of Business and pursue a
successful career.I believe that learning this program will provide me the knowledgeable tools that are
required to be a successful businessman in the future. Studying Bachelor of business in SCU will provide
me a chance to learn the techniques and the modern approach of the business world. As I researched
about the university, I found that SCU has quality in teaching and delivering expert education. Because
of easy access to library, transportation facility and affordable fee structure high numbers of
international students reached to choose this university than other in Australia. One of the best reasons

Reasons for Choosing Bachelor of Business

The package of my course will be Diploma of Business followed by Bachelor of Business at Southern
Cross University, Gold Coast Campus. I have always yearned to study business as it the key to open
todays modern world. I was always fascinated by the tricks and treats of Business field. The existence
and expansion of business in different areas are justifications of the importance of business. Business
provides a lot of services to human beings that highlight its significance. Business collects drifts of
savings from different individuals, especially through bank and financial institutions and employs those
in productive activities thus, harnessing capital in economic activities to utilize natural resources in
utility creation and consequently helps production, employment and resource utilization. In the first
year, Diploma of Business will deliver fundamental electives like Business law, Marketing principals,
Economics for decision making, Statistical analysis etc which will act as a base for understanding general
concept of business. The following year, I will be benefited to start my second year of Bachelors where I
can specialize in subjects like Accounting, Finance, Human Resource, International Business, Marketing,
Management or any other available. Here, I will be choosing Marketing as my major subject. Today
concept of global market has become a simple term. Changing trade rules, flexible imports and exports,
open borders have strengthen global business. These days business is not only domesticated, for
example: A consumer can check, compare and get options worldwide before buying something. For
every business there must be an exposure to make it familiar and reliable among consumers. It is our
basic human nature to trust a product that is familiar and known more often. Marketing plays a
significant role while conducting any business effectively. It studies from recent trend to outdated one,
human psychology to the needs of modern world. From small to large scale we need marketing
strategies to notice a slight change in consumption up to discovering bigger inventions. I had studied
marketing in my Year 12 and found it quite interesting. With such prospects of marketing I believe I can
do much more in the field of business.

Career and Future Plans

After completing my intermediate level, It was a bit confusing and hard decision while stepping for a
new step that would forever shape my aim and it was my job to search an environment that would help
me grow internationally too. This is all because Nepal has recently entered into WTO and globalization
has spread. At this situation, I thought of being an internationally qualified student to be globally
competent so as to understand business in a more systematic manner and to ensure that I succeed
because of my global experience in Australia. As far as my career is concerned, having a renowned
company and being a successful businessman was my childhood dream. Although to be a successful
businessman lots of homework have to be done before. At first I would like to work as marketing
executive in some renowned business hub that would sharpen my working skills.

After studying Business course with marketing specialization, I will be equipped with knowledge and
skills needed to start my professional career. Australia is itself a business hub where I can gather
numerous experiences and learn new techniques for future. I also want to do my Masters but before
that I want to collect some experiences in the relevant field. For that reason, I will gain some industrial
experience at the time of my Post Study Work period. It will create a foundation either to continue my
work or gain a masters degree in the related field. After that, I plan to return back Nepal because here
the resources are sufficient but it is not utilized properly. With the help of proper knowledge about
business, I can also encourage to develop local products rather than being dependent on foreign goods.
Or else, I can even work for some prestigious organizations like Chaudhary Group or Khetan Group some
corporate houses like the Ace Travels, Ncell, Uniliver etc. After all, having proper knowledge of business
makes a person all round investor. Australian educational experience will definitely pave way to greater
salary here or anywhere. Moreover, Nepal is a developing country with numerous business
opportunities. Due to globalization, todays generations is obliged to study those subjects that are more
demanding and rewarding as well. I believe that Australian qualification will enrich my existing skills,
knowledge and experiences in multicultural environment. I am fully optimistic that international
educational experience will be whole advantageous for me.

Having decided that I will engage in the pursuit of a career in business, I am fully aware of the
implications. I am aware of the kind of dedication, resilience and resolve that it calls for. I feel that I am
prepared, both in having the qualifications, and in having the right mind-set for Bachelors Program at
