6 Sushila
Despite being told that she could not leave the classroom without
permission, Sushila would still take off to the toilet without asking the
teacher.
On hearing all this from Madam Asmah, Sushila's parents admitted
that they too felt helpless and did not know how to help her. They left all
her schoolwork to the tutor they had hired for her. Her mother also
observed that she had difficulty following instructions even when they were.

would have to shout or threaten to beat her to make her behave, At home,
to keep her quiet, Sushila was allowed by grandmother to spend most of
her time watching cartoons on television or playing with her sister.
