EVENT REPORT FOR BAJA SAE INDIA 2018 VIRTUALS

TEAM MOTORBREATH of VJTI Racing represented Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute for the 6th
time at the Virtuals of BAJA SAE INDIA 2018, which was an Elimination-cum-Selection Round for the
National Level All Terrain Vehicle competition. The event was held at Chitkara University, Chandigadh,
Punjab during July 13-15, 2017. 388 teams had participated in the event.

Team Motorbreath is extremely delighted and proud that VJTI Racing has scored total of 190.6 out of
200 marks in the Virtual Round and secured 3rd Rank Overall.

The team received great exposure & experience. The level of competitiveness helped the team to improve
their design and presentation skills.

For the current project, the team received continual support from the entire Mechanical Engineering Dept.
Our Chairman, Dr. N. P. Gulhane, Vice-Chairman Dr. S. A. Mastud, and our faculty advisor, Dr. M. V.
Tendolkar, were instrumental in instilling in us the confidence. The team members are highly thankful to Dr.
Dhiren R. Patel, Director, VJTI, for his constant support, help & motivation.
