Corporate IT Strategy (CITS) Project Case

In this semester, you have learned the following CITS Topics:

Enterprise IT Architecture and IT Infrastructure.

Strategy for ERP as an IT Application Portfolio and Its Case.

Technology Management Strategy for IT.

Strategy for IT Program Management and PMO.

IT Service Management Strategy.

IT Sourcing Strategy.

Planning and Measuring Returns on IT Investment.

Strategies for Managing IT-Led Change.

Choose One local company in Indonesia as your object study. Choose ANY (1) topic of CITS topics
above. You may develop necessary assumption and context in order to support your argument and present
it as your Final Project Case.

Find out as many as sources of information for your case from any literature. In this case, you only need
to do a study literature. It is strongly recommended that you can take one local organization case from
your working experiences.

Prepare your presentation slides in power-point with the following Guiding Questions:

A. CITS Topic
 1. Explain about the Topic that you choose to present.
2. Address the advantages and disadvantages of the topic that you choose.

B. Organisational Setting.
3. Briefly explain the business of organization,
4. Briefly explain the opportunities or trends are being pursued by the organization.
5. Briefly explain why the Topic that you selected above is relevant to the organization.
6. Briefly explain the current problems faced by the organization.

C. Application of your CITS Topic.

7. Briefly explain how you apply the Topic in that organization.
8. Address all possible barriers (difficulties) that you might face when implementing the CITS
Topic.
9. Briefly how do you cope with those difficulties.
10. Briefly explain the benefits of your CITS topic implementation.
11. Make the analogy with the similar Case Study (references) to illustrate your success story.
12. What are the lessons learned from your analysis.
