What I realize from reading Althusser and after taking acid is that capitalism is not simply an

imposed ideology, and communism itself is not simply an external ideology. Class struggle is not
simply struggle of classes, it is not simply the real struggle between classes, it is also the reflection of
the struggle between the two opposites within human beings; capitalism and communism are also
reflections of the struggles within a human being. Capitalism is essentially contradictory and that is
true for anyone embodying a capitalist view. Communism is to challenge that contradiction and to
face it full-on, and to bring everyone into this fight, into this struggle, not only a real one, an
economic one, but also a psychological one

This is essentially the main point of Marx. That is, critique of capitalism is actually critique of that
particular attribute, one of the duality within the human psyche. And communism is the call to
awakening, call to mindfulness, of the psyche against our traction our intention towards gaining
more and more surplus, exploiting people more and more.

Althussers Marxism, is essentially our struggle towards the Hamvas Belas Golden Age pre-600BC,
the age when such duality didnt exist, and a time when we werent pulled towards consumerism,
power, etc., a time when to live was to worship.
