FBI CITIZENS ACADEMY FOUNDATION OF CLEVELAND

The FBI Citizens Academy Foundation of Cleveland (FBICAF - www.fbicaf.org) is a non-


profit public service organization with the goal of creating a safer Northeast Ohio
community and promoting a greater understanding and support of the FBI. This is
accomplished, in part, by improving understanding and encouraging appreciation of law
enforcement among the citizenry and community leaders. One way the FBICAF raises
awareness of those whose activities have a significant impact on the community is to
recognize local heroes that walk among us

The FBICAF is requesting your help in soliciting nominations or even nominating
Sheryl King Benford someone yourself for these four special awards. If you know of any individual, group, or

Description of Awards and Criteria
Safety Forces Hero This individual or team has demonstrated actions which have gone
beyond the call of duty, in light of significant danger to self and/or others. As a
result of these selfless actions, the life/lives of others were saved.
Criteria:
Executive Committee Works for law enforcement, fire, or rescue squad
Saved life/lives through his or her actions
