My high school, West Rowan was a special place that was very significant in shaping my

literacy narrative as this is where I was taught how to annotate, analyze text and how to write in a

MLA format. High school was also were I really challenged myself in the english language, as I

remember English was not my best subject but it was the first class that I took an honors class for

and it was also my first AP class I signed up for. For some reason I dont know why I did, even

though it was for me my weakest subject. At West Rowan we also had to make a minimum nine

page research paper, which was the first ever real essay that I wrote.
