ABSTRACT
This article tries to comply the theories and discussions about the concept of cultural
landscapes to point out the essence and definition, including the recent study, both in the global
context and in Thailand. Further, this study integrates the academic status of the landscape research
in Thailand over 20 years ago by analyzing the educational issues and characteristics of the study
area. Conclusion, this study suggestion 2 issues of the cultural landscape study, such as, the study
of the cultural landscape should integrating with others science to create a framework for research
and new findings in the academic sphere and the study should related the issues in the current
instance, such as, the terrain and climate change, impacts of development and so on.
