Nd oe 2 OILFIELD PRODUCTS PRODUCTIONProduct overview We manufacture downhole pump barrels under a quality management system focused on the requirements of 1809001 Regarding quality control processes, our barrels have inspection and testing plans at different stages, from receiptof raw materials tothe final packaging, Barrels have as a critical variable the diametral tolerance (external and internal), righteousness, internal roughness, and size of the thread. For the case of hard chrome plated barrels, also is added to the above listed, the adhesion of the chrome layer, the type of plating, and the surface hardness , all referring to the layer of chromium deposited Quality controls carried out on each piece produced ensuring compliance with the specifications offered , which meet the requirements of product standard API 11AX We are oriented to provide barrels to downhole pump manufacturers where volume of production or factory integration , requires full barrel supply, or barrel supply without threads at the ends. For this reason we also apply the type and color of exterior paint coating we are requested, as well as the marking requirement. In resume, we can supply the barrels as the customer requests, including color and type of paint to protect from outside. MEC offers barrels with different materials and finishes, which are detailed in the present document Materials a) Carbon Steel (S) Carbon stee! tube with a hardness of 55/62 HRa and minimum yield stress of 415 MPa (60 ks!) b) Stainless Steel (1) Stainless stee! tube with 4-6% chromium content, hardness of 55 to 62 HRa and minimum yield stress of 485 MPa (70ksi). Coatings a)Hard Chrome® Hard chrome plating, with a minimum thickness of the layer of chromium radial 0.003 "(0.076 mm) and a surface hardness HV of 900-1160 (67/71 HRC). b) Hard Chrome Dual Layer (H) Hard chrome plating, with a minimum thickness of the chrome layer of 0.006 Radial "(0.0152 mm) and a surface hardness HV of 900-1160 (67/71 HRC).
