Damaged Chromebook Guidelines For Building Principals and Librarians


This schedule follows District Policy 7523 for School District Provided Technology Devices to Pupils
and the GTPS 1:1 Chromebook Guidelines.

Accidental Cracked Screen or other accidental Form Letter to parents

Damage Not Covered by User Fee Letter and invoice to parents for full cost of
repair or replacement
Appropriate disciplinary actions may result in
loss of Chromebook usage for a period of
time

Lost or Damaged Charger Letter and invoice to parents


Accessories Case (not including strap) Replace after payment is received
Not Covered by User Fee

Lost chromebook Must be reported to School Office Office will contact Bus Depot.
ASAP Parent/guardian will be contacted
If not located within 2 days, invoice sent

Theft Stolen from residence or vehicle Parent/guardian must file police report and

*Student will be issued a Daily Loaner Chromebook that will be picked up and returned each day. Loaners may not go home.
