To Whom It May Concern:

request of Jeri Vilches who attended the following seminars during the months of January-
March 2017.

Jeffrey MacCormack: Morphological Instruction in the Classroom

Any idea what morphological instruction means? This session will introduce students to the dynamic
world of teaching morphological instruction in the classroom, alongside providing student teacher with a
multitude of tools and techniques that they can implement in their own classrooms.

ATA: PRISM: Professionals Respecting Individualized Sexual Minorities

This workshop supports school leaders and teachers to understand the issues of gender and sexual
minority individuals, develop strategies to build an inclusive school community (elementary and
secondary) and establish and support the operation of a gay-straight alliance upon student request.

ATA: Here Comes Everybody: Welcome to a Multicultural Classroom

As we enter the second decade of the 21st century, our school communities continue to reflect the
increasing diversity of our society in terms of culture, ethnicity, language, race, colour sexual orientation,
gender identity, religion and other characteristics. This session was designed to assist teachers in adapting
their practice to these school communities.
