Position Information

We are looking for a Senior Front-end Engineer to lead our front-end team and
development efforts. Our Front-End Engineers work closely with designers and
product managers to build the user experiences of our enterprise and consumer web
applications. Youll work within a small, agile team while solving problems from
beginning to end -- from product conceptualizations to engineering implementations.

Responsibilities

Architect and develop client-facing solutions that meet business requirements

Ability to code detailed, functional pages from mock-ups in collaboration with

web designers

Perform regular maintenance and updates on existing websites

Work collaboratively with design and development teams on a daily basis

Create and update internal documentation

Advocate for high quality, well-tested solutions

Key Qualifications

Expert Javascript experience, including AngularJS (1.x or 2/4)

Experience with Git workflows, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Bower, gulp, Webpack,
TypeScript, Sass, TSlint

Testing Angular code with Jasmine and Karma

A general understanding of SEO and what factors affect search rankings

Experience with building highly optimized responsive websites

Basic experience with WordPress templates

On the edge of front-end technology and methodology (CSS3, media queries, mobile-
first design, progressive enhancement, web standards, best practices and writing
clean, semantic code etc)

5-6 years of experience, including 1-2 years of leading a front-end team

Bonus
 Understanding of best practices in design, optimization, interaction and
usability.

Mentoring and providing leadership to entry and mid-level software engineers

Help make our development practices better and reduce friction from idea to
deployment

Experience working in an agile team
