Eldership Summer

Casual Café with Keeley and Sarah
Every Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. volunteers Keeley and Sarah visit Perks Café and assist our
culinary Team with laying out snacks for our Members and guests. After their chores are finished these
two young ladies enjoy some social time in Perks visiting with Members passing by.
Keeley and Sarah love to play cards and board games and are always looking for people to join
them. I would like to encourage Community
Members to say hello to Keeley and Sarah
next time you see them on a Thursday morn-
ing and sit and enjoy a conversation with
these two lovely individuals. Please feel free
to challenge them to a game of cards too.

Eldership Summer Camp Games and Activities

Over the past month Arklan Day Camp has been visiting the Water-
side to participate in an intergenerational program between children and
older adults. The children are excited about the opportunity to come and
visit and play games with our Members as many do not have a grandparent
figure in their lives. This gives them an opportunity to interact and learn
from the older generations. Look for the children to visit every Wednes-
day @ 10:00 a.m. in Paddles Pub during the month of August.
