Dramatic Monologue

(Twilight Bellas Dialogue)

Marriage is just a piece of paper. Well, where I come from
at my age, its the way one says I just got knocked up.
You know two out of three marriages end in divorce. I
cant. I have to be back at four. I know, I put you through
hell. Dad, theres nothing you can say. Edward is in my
life. Jacob hadnt talked to me in weeks. I wanted to fix it,
he just wouldnt give me the chance. Id never given much
thought to how I would die. But dying in the place of
someone I love seems like a good way to go. So I cant
bring myself to regret the decision to leave home. I would
miss Phoenix. Id miss the heat. I would miss my loving,
erratic, harebrained mother. And her new husbandBut
they want to go on the road, so Im gonna spend some
time with my dad, and this will be a good thing. I think. In
the state of Washington, under a near constant cover of
clouds and rain, theres a small town named Forks.
Population, 3,120 people. This is where Im moving.
