Position vacant: JRF/RA in DRDO funded project

Applications are invited for the posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Research Associate
(RA) to work in a DRDO funded project at Department of Physics & Materials Science &
Engineering, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida. The detail of the project is
given below.

application is 21/06/17. However, applications may be accepted after the last date, if suitable
candidates are not found.

Eligibility: For JRF, Master Degree (MS/MTech/MSc.) in Physics/Applied

Mathematics/Computer Science/IT/Electronics with good knowledge of Mathematics. For RA,
PhD in Physics/Applied Mathematics/Computer Science with published works in the field of
quantum information. Those who have submitted their thesis may also apply.

For JRF positions, preference will be given to students who have cleared UGC-CSIR
NET/JEST/GATE or an equivalent examination. For Post-Docs (RA), knowledge of the field
and earlier work experience will play important role.

Fellowship: As per the norms of DRDO. At present, fellowship of JRF is Rs. 32500 per
month (including HRA) and that of RA-I is Rs. 46800 per month (including HRA).
