My Hero

My dad's as brave as a dad can He's not afraid of vampires,

be, Or a wolf-man come to get him,
I rate him Number One, If Frankenstein's monster knocked
He's not afraid of the dead of night, on our door,
Or anything under the sun. He wouldn't let that upset him.

He's not afraid of a late-night film, My dad's as brave as a dad can be,
Full of horrors on the telly, And he's always ready to prove it.
And is he afraid of skeletons? So why, when a spider's in the bath,
Not dad, not on your Nelly! Does Mum have to come and
remove it?
He's not afraid of meeting ghosts,
He'd even smile and greet 'em,
And things that scare most dads
the most,
Willis Hall
My dad could just defeat 'em.
What is Red?
Red is a sunset Red is an Indian
Blazing and bright. A Valentine heart,
Red is feeling brave The trimmings on
With all your might. A circus cart.
Red is a sunburn Red is a lipstick
A spot on your nose. Red is a shout
Sometimes red, is a red red rose. Red is a signal
Red squiggles out when you cut your hand. That says, Watch out!
Red is a brick Red is a great big
And the sounds of a band. Rubber ball.
Red is hotness Red is the giant-est
You get inside Colour of all.
When youre embarrassed Red is a show-off,
And want to hide. No doubt about it
Fire-cracker, fire-engine But can you imagine
Fire-flicker red Living without it?
And when youre angry
Red runs through your head.
