Proposal of Internship Report

Titled of the Report: Digital Banking in Bangladesh: A case of NCC Bank Limited

Digital banking is the digitization (or moving online) of all the traditional banking

activities and programs that historically were only available to customers when physically

inside of a bank branch. This includes activities like:

Money Deposits, Withdrawals, and Transfers

Checking/Saving Account Management

Applying for Financial Products

Loan Management

Bill Pay

Account Services

Rationale of the Report:

Internship of 90 days is a 3-credit compulsory course in MBA Program at Faculty of

Business Studies, University of Dhaka. As we are students of Management Information

Systems, we are supposed to intern in such a position where we can get acquainted with the

real world usage of Information Systems in Business.

Objectives of the Report:

To identify the digital banking activities in NCC Bank Limited.

To understand the technologies used in digital Banking in NCC Bank.

To management approaches use in digital banking.


Scope of the Report:

This is an academic study. The objective of this study is to identify the practical uses of

information systems in the bank to compare it with others and with our academic courses.

Sources of Data:

Primary data: Primary data will be collected mainly from NCC Bank Limited, from Head

Office and from Branches. Some more primary data will be collected from other banks and

from other largescale organizations.

Secondary data: Secondary data will be collected from books, journals, manuscripts, and

from the Web. The main data collection method is observation. Some other methods will also

be used for data collection like

Limitation of the Report:

This is an academic report for internship purpose in graduate level. This is a comparative

study also. But this is not a research paper. Though the report aims at a comparative study of

Digital Banking applications, this will be done from academic perspective. There are some

limitations of this report:

Lack of Information

Lack of time

Lack of hi-tech knowledge
