Butterfly Pop-Up

You Will Need:

Sizzix Big Shot Machine (660200) or
Sizzix Big Shot Express Machine (660850) or
Sizzix Big Shot Plus Machine (660020)
Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 4PK - Detailed Butterflies by Tim Holtz (661182)
Adhesive pearls
Assorted plain card
Sentiment stamps - Heidi Swapp
Corner punch

How to Make:
1. Print or trace the template onto pale peach coloured card and score along the dotted lines before cutting along the solid lines using a craft knife. If
you are working from a printed template remember to reverse the pop-up mechanism so that the lines are not seen.

2. Attach a torn strip of warmer peach card down the left hand edge and fold along the score lines before rounding off all the corners with a punch.

3. Stamp your sentiment onto white card and trim to size before matting onto mid grey card and mount onto the base card.

4. Die-cut a plain butterfly from mid grey card and a detailed butterfly from pink card.

5. Use assorted adhesive pearls to decorate the body of the pink butterfly and matt over the grey butterfly before mounting onto the pop-up element.

6. Take an A5 rectangle of pale grey and fold in half before rounding off the corners and inserting the assembled pop-up.
